What Is a Tar-and-Chip Driveway?

Tar-and-chip paving looks similar to asphalt but uses a different installation process. Successive layers of gravel, hot liquid bitumen asphalt, and more loose stone are laid over the surface and compressed. This rustic look isn't for everyone but for some its everything and more. West Jordan Paving covers this process to DOT standards.

This process has also been performed to many subsidiaries in Utah at our branch in Draper.
